Striking new leaflet defines the difference

Friday, March 18th, 2011

The FM Sudafix Group has released a new leaflet and it is having an immediate impact. The leaflet combines an attractive design with an important message and the marketplace is seemingly responding very positively. A noticeable spike in contact has been noticed from companies with no previous affiliation or experience of the FM Sudafix Group, and many are citing either referrals from our existing client portfolio or recent direct marketing initiatives as the incitement to get in touch. One caller advised, “I’ve been disappointed with other companies, and the prospect of working with an organization like FM Sudafix who have a fresh approach to electrical earthing systems is very welcome.” Sean Elliott-Maher, the FM Sudafix Group Strategy & Communications Director, discussed the design approach of this new leaflet, “As with all new projects I convened a meeting with my best people and discussed both the scope and message. The branding guidelines that we have developed at the FM Sudafix Group are stringent in terms of quality control, but flexible enough to allow designers a large amount of creative freedom so I knew that they would produce some pretty inspired work, and I’m sure anyone looking at the finished product will agree that they haven’t disappointed. The form of our leaflet is intended to reflect the journey through a project from design to completion, with each new panel building upon the developments of the last. This leaflet is intended to identify why the FM Sudafix Group is an exception in the electrical safety sector and why comparisons to manufacturers of earthing / grounding materials completely miss the point of what the company is and how it operates; we are proud to be different and so do our customers and clients. The colour pallet and interaction works effectively and I think the message is conveyed in a modern aesthetic. Okay, I know that I’m talking about a leaflet on a more involved level than most people would think is reasonable, but this is one of the ways that makes the FM Sudafix Group different. My team and I, and by the very fact that we exist the other senior management, are fully committed to investing time, money and effort into our communications with our fantastic customers; we value that point of interaction and know that we demonstrate that value by the quality of the communication. The people who work for the FM Sudafix Group are excellent and they are the reason for our ongoing success and that’s why we in the communications department are devoted to representing the wider Group’s efforts in a way that clearly shows how much effort we invest in them. To accompany the leaflet launch we created some exciting supplementary marketing tools, such as exhibition stands and banners, which all adopt the same branding and aesthetics. My team has done a great job, without them this wouldn’t have been possible.”

FM Sudafix Appearance in MEEE 2011

Friday, February 11th, 2011

It is the first major exhibition in the calendar and the Middle East Electricity Exhibition never disappoints! This year the FM Sudafix Group was represented at the MEEE in Dubai by Group Chief Executive Steve Hutchinson and Technical Director John Maher. The FM Sudafix top brass were inundated with people who were keen to establish the ways in which the company can support and supply their projects and ongoing endeavours. Located as a feature part of the Ducab exhibition stand the FM Sudafix Group managed to capture the imagination and impress their visitors, which typifies what the exhibition is really about: meeting new people, and sharing innovations in techniques, products and approaches. One visitor remarked, “The Steve Hutchinson and John Maher double act is really something to behold; they bounce off each other so well, immediately striking a warm rapport with us all. Whilst it was funny to hear some of their stories, one thing came across very powerfully, and that is their huge experience of this sector, they know everyone and have worked on every kind of project you could imagine. I’ve never worked with them before but I can’t wait to get our grounding systems with FM Sudafix.” Steve Hutchinson managed to grab a breath after three days of non-stop meetings and with a hoarse voice told the website team: “What a wonderful exhibition this has been! John and I have been rushed off our feet over the last few days but we have had a great time. Everyone that we have met has responded so positively to the FM Sudafix portfolio of products and services. I think the LME (London Metal Exchange) played a part its part in the interest in Conducrete® as well; certainly with copper trading at in excess of $10,000.00 per tonne earthing / grounding systems which reduce the requirement for non-ferrous metals was likely to appeal to everyone! We would like to thank everyone who came up to meet us at the exhibition and we look forward to working with them in future.”

FM Sudafix in demand at the Middle East Electrical Exhibition 2010

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

The Middle East Electrical Exhibition 2010 was an energetic and enjoyable experience for all in attendance. Situated on the Ducab stand, as part of the Ducab Connect range, FM Sudafix representatives were in considerable demand. Conducrete®, the high performance conductive concrete supplied by FM Sudafix and its partner Ducab, was one of the most talked about products in the entire exhibition as consultants and project managers swarmed to the Ducab stand to learn more about its superior attributes. FM Sudafix Group Chief Executive Steve Hutchinson provided the following statement: “I was proud to contribute to, and be part of, the official re-launch of the Ducab Connect range. Recognising the importance of this event in the electrical sector calendar, and the local significance of our partnership with Ducab, I ensured that FM Sudafix provided representatives from the senior management to demonstrate our commitment to drive the Ducab Connect range forward. Our Global Sales Director, Will Hodgson, was delighted to meet with attendees and establish new opportunities for future growth of the specialist earthing products element within the Ducab Connect range. I offer my sincere gratitude to all those wonderful people who took the time to come to the stand to meet with us and thank them for their politeness and attention during our conversations. My personal positive experience of the exhibition based upon the response from those attending the show was further enhanced by the media attention focused upon the seminar hosted by Ducab Connect Manager Roy Heatherington and co-hosted by FM Sudafix Group Strategy & Communications Director Sean Elliott-Maher. It is a great honour to be part of the ongoing successes of Ducab, and representing its partnership with FM Sudafix was a highlight of my career and I look forward to many more opportunities to do so in future.”
