The FM Sudafix Group is enormously proud to announce that Calum Heath has now been appointed as the new General Manager. Heath, previously the FM Sudafix Integrated Systems Manager, has demonstrated his paramount value during his time with the company and CEO Steve Hutchinson said, “I had absolutely no hesitation in promoting Calum to General Manager.
He applied for the post, and whilst the board and I were sure we had our man right away based upon his performance and clear abilities, we had to make sure that the process was open and honest.”After outlining his range of commercial and operational innovations and demonstrating his determination to upgrade technical processes, whilst freeing up resource to the communications department the board were certain that despite a number of incredibly strong and promising candidates, there was no better person to take the reins than Calum Heath.
The appointment of a new General Manager coincides with an amount of restructuring within the FM Sudafix Group, which should see the company improve processes across the board, which augurs well for customers and staff alike.
At only approaching 28 the new General Manager is certainly young, but FM Sudafix has always demonstrated that it is a progressive and forward thinking company that is not afraid to trust talent when it is clearly evident, irrespective of any other criteria. John Maher, FM Sudafix Technical Director commented, “Calum has worked quite closely with me since he started here, and reviewing the restructuring plan it appears that we will continue to work together frequently, which I’m really happy about. Being a direct and energetic personality will certainly stand Calum in good stead, but in truth I’m just delighted that he is finally getting the opportunity that I’ve always believed he fully deserved.”
Calum Heath outlined his vision for the development of FM Sudafix: “Working here is not just a job for me, or indeed for so many of the guys at the top, it’s a passion, almost a calling and I am delighted to take the reins as General Manager. The fact that the experienced business people who sit on the board, particularly Steve and John, have this level of confidence in me is simultaneously humbling and encouraging. I have big plans, and they run in accord with the ultimate ambitions of the board and I am sure, the staff; together we will achieve great things and I am eager to get stuck in and start moving us towards fulfilling those ambitions.”
